Work out a pairing
Three rules run in order: two of the same Pal breed true, a unique combination beats everything else, and otherwise the child is the Pal on the rank ladder closest to floor((rank A + rank B + 1) / 2), with ties going to the higher breeding priority. This build's ranks are the 1.0 game files' own, so the answers here can differ from older community tables.

All 185 unique combinations
These pairs ignore the rank ladder entirely — 81 of them are two different Pals, and 104 are a Pal paired with itself, which is how the 26 Pals that never appear on the ladder are bred at all.
