About palmap
palmap is a free interactive map for Palworld. It covers every collectible in the game's map data, on both map surfaces, and keeps track of what you've found in your browser.
Where the data comes from
- Markers - every marker is read from the game's own map files: the dedicated server's world data, dumped with CUE4Parse after each patch. Chest contents, fishing tables and egg pools come from the same files. palmap started on paldb.cc's marker datasets in July 2026 and still thanks them.
- Game data tables - Pal spawn placements, roll weights, combat drops, items, recipes, technology, fishing, breeding and pal parameters are read straight from the game's own data tables, dumped from the Palworld dedicated server (Steam build 25080279, v1.0.5) with CUE4Parse. The dump is refreshed after each patch.
- Pal index and item catalogue - the pal registry and items index of the pinned palworld-atlas-data build 24466863 (MIT © 2026 Adam Young): pal cross-checks, plus item names, descriptions, categories, rarity, price, weight and stack size. Unofficial fan project, not affiliated with Pocketpair.
- Map textures - the world map and World Tree map images from the palworld-save-pal project, retiled for zoomable web use.
- Coordinates - the in-game coordinates a marker shows are produced by a single documented transform from the world position the game file gives it, on both map surfaces.
Data is rebuilt from the datasets rather than hand-edited, so counts on the landing pages, the sitemap and the map itself always come from the same export.
