Changelog

Everything new on Palmap, newest first. Got a request or found something wrong? Come tell us on Discord.

Markers straight from the game files

  • Every marker on the map now comes from the game files of the current patch, the same source as the wiki. paldb.cc, which started palmap off, is no longer needed.
  • Resource nodes are complete now: the game places 9% more ore than the old dataset showed, and coal, sulfur and quartz gained too.
  • Chests, fishing spots and eggs know their own loot, fish table and hatch pool; the map uses the first two today.
  • Region names in all 17 languages come from the game text.
  • Your found progress carries over.

Updated for Palworld v1.0.4

  • Wiki and spawn data now come straight from the game files of each patch, so the site no longer waits on third-party dumps. Everything from 1.0.3 and 1.0.4 is in.
  • Technology: Jetragon and its Pal Gear unlock at level 70, and the Aquatic Construction Kit at level 23 for one point.
  • Fishing: High Quality Bait and Deluxe Bait add 10% and 20% to catch rewards, and two volcanic fishing spots now roll fire variants.
  • Pals: 18 spawn points moved, World Tree drop tables re-rolled, and four passive skills renamed (World Tree's Bounty, Sky Strider, Party Pal Trust Boost, Extended Dodge Invincibility).
  • Map: newest paldb snapshot with 137 corrected dungeon levels, 14 more enemy camps, and oil rig guards and pal merchants as their own marker types. Your found progress carries over.
  • The game version now shows on the map, next to the credits.

Import your Palworld save

  • New "Import save" button (beta) reads your Palworld character save right in the browser - nothing is uploaded anywhere.
  • You review what was found first - fast travel, watchtowers, effigies, alpha pals, bounties, towers, journals, Ancient Ruins, treasure map digs and your Paldex - and pick what to import, up to 947 markers.
  • The sidebar Export/Import buttons merged into one Import/Export dialog, and a "Reset all progress" option now lives in the map settings menu.
  • The map URL stays clean now - no more state spam in the address bar. Old shared links keep working, and your map position still survives a refresh.
  • Chests cannot be imported - Palworld does not remember opened chests. Found a bug? Tell us on Discord.

The whole site in 17 languages

  • French led the way - now the wiki, guides, breeding calculator and chest loot tables are available in every language the map speaks.
  • Search works in your language too, accents and all, and shared link previews come localized.
  • Pick your language from the landing header or the map settings gear - auto follows your browser.

Tell us when a marker is wrong

  • Every marker popup now ends with "Something wrong? Report it" — it opens the Discord and copies that exact marker's link on the way, so you can paste it straight into your report.
  • Reports land in #marker-reports, where they get tagged and fixed. The 62 missing chests started life as one of these.

Le site en français

  • The whole site — the map, the wiki, the guides and every tool page — now has a French version at palmap.app/fr.
  • More languages will follow.

The map now speaks 17 languages

  • Marker names, labels and map chrome now follow your browser language — French, German, Vietnamese, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese and more.
  • Pick a language manually in the map settings gear; Auto follows your browser.

Treasure chest overhaul

  • 62 previously missing starter-region chests added (Windswept Island, Golden Hills, Autumn Rocks, Flying Fish Coast, Sunlit Isle)
  • Chest popups now preview likely loot, gold and respawn time
  • Chests renamed by region and rarity, with proper chest icons
  • New Treasure section in the sidebar; City moved into Locations
  • Thanks to a report on our Discord for pinpointing the missing chests.

A bigger map

  • The sidebar now floats over the map instead of sitting beside it, with a tab to collapse it on desktop — the whole window is map.
  • Marker icons ship pre-baked in a single sprite sheet, so the map draws faster on first load.

See who else is exploring

  • A live counter in the map corner and the site header shows how many people have palmap open right now.
  • It counts open tabs anonymously - no cookies, nothing stored, and it works whether or not you accept analytics.

The wiki, one tap from the map

  • New Guide button (top right) opens every wiki page: pals, items, breeding, technology, systems and tools.
  • Pal spawn popups and the selected-pal card now link straight to that pal's full page — stats, breeding & traits.

A cleaner look, and search

  • Pal and item pages now open with the Pal portrait or the item icon.
  • Elements are colour-coded across the site, so Fire, Water, Grass and the rest read at a glance.
  • Search sits in the header on every page - click it, or press / anywhere and start typing a Pal or item name.
  • A new Systems menu in the header reaches all seven system pages.
  • The ranch page is a single table of every ranch Pal and what it produces, instead of 29 separate cards.
  • Long pages like the technology tree and chest loot now have jump links at the top.
  • Every page carries breadcrumbs, so you can always get back up a level.

Game systems

  • Seven new pages pulled straight from the game files: ranch, breeding, technology, fishing, chest loot, base camp and merchants.
  • A breeding calculator that works both ways - pick two parents to see the egg, or pick the pal you want and see every pair that makes it.
  • Chest loot now lists every grade of every container by region, not just the lowest one.
  • Fishing spots, baits and fish ponds, with the level band and difficulty of everything you can catch.
  • All 288 pal pages gained ranch production, inheritable moves and where to fish them; all 1,227 item pages gained ranch, fishing, merchant and technology sources.
  • Fishing spots, chests, camps, dungeons and salvage on the map now link to the page that lists what they hold.

A page for every Pal and item

  • All 288 Pals have a page: base stats, work suitability, partner skill, passive skills and the full learnset.
  • Each Pal page also lists what it drops, where it spawns, the dungeons it turns up in, and every breeding pair that makes it.
  • All 1,227 items have a page: what drops them, which chests hold them, what they are crafted from and what they make.
  • Drop rates and chest odds are read from the loot tables in the game files rather than estimated.
  • Marker popups and the pal panel link straight through to these pages.
  • Location pages now show a mini-map of the markers they describe.

Quality-of-life update

  • Effigy icons now have a dark outline so they stand out against bright terrain.
  • Focus mode dims the map, so the one thing you are hunting carries the frame.
  • New "Track any marker" toggle in the map settings - tick off dungeons, ore, eggs, anything, not just collectibles. Your overall completion still counts collectibles only.
  • Categories now fold away, and a new filter menu hides the ones you do not care about.
  • Items are sorted by progression instead of alphabetically - Lifmunk effigy first, Ore before Soralite.
  • Finish a category and it turns gold.
  • The focus panel floats on the map, so the sidebar no longer jumps when you toggle it.
  • Touch: bigger tap targets on markers, and popups stay open when you drag the map.

Dungeon rosters

  • Every dungeon entrance now shows its real name and level.
  • Dungeon popups list the pals you will meet inside, plus the boss room roster.
  • Sealed Realm alphas are marked with their own chip.
  • A new dungeons page collects them all as browsable cards.

Area names and map polish

  • The map now names the region under your cursor, with its level range.
  • Effigies can be shown as pal portraits instead of statues.
  • CMD or Ctrl click a marker to tick it off without opening the popup.
  • Merchants and quest NPCs split into their own categories.

Palmap is live

  • Every collectible, spawn point and resource node across Palpagos and the World Tree.
  • Progress tracking that saves in your browser, with export and import.
  • Pal spawn heatmaps with day and night filtering.
